Young Freddy experiences a horrifying nightmare about being pursued by a wicked creature named the Soul Catcher, who wields a menacing scythe. The scenario unfolds within a haunted fortress brimming with lethal traps and a variety of perilous foes. While dashing through the castle’s hallways, attempting to evade his pursuer, Freddy must also leap over various ground-level hazards such as spikes, spinning blades, or deep chasms, slide beneath or fire at oncoming adversaries. In total, there are five sections that require your endurance, but beware that within each level, in addition to confronting the usual foes, you must also dodge the Soul Catcher’s scythe assaults from behind. When he appears, keep your focus on him. As he retracts the scythe in preparation to strike, hit the jump button to evade the razor-sharp blade. Additionally, while escaping, aim to gather as much gold as you can; upon collecting 100 coins, you will be rewarded with an extra life.
